Green Smoothie

Place ~3 cups of your favorite green or mixture of greens (spinach & collards) into a high speed blender.

Next add a banana broken into 1 inch pieces, add slices of a pear, discarding the core, add two cups of water.

2-3 pieces of ice are nice to add since there will be some heat generated in the mixing process.

Add 5 frozen or fresh strawberries.

Secure the lid and start the blender.

I actually have a “whole juice” button on mine that will automatically run the blender for 90 seconds. If manually running the blender always start slow and speed it up a little at a time until you reach liquefy.

This yields ~ 5 cups. Enjoy!!
