People who are in the River category and who want to improve to a Lake or even an Ocean have increased their pure water consumption by as little as two glasses a day.
Other things River people have done is decrease their intake of diuretics such as coffee, soft drinks, chocolate, alcohol, etc. Increased consumption of melons, celery, and other watery fruits & vegetables also assist in moving up from river status.
